Our group reconvened at Quisqueya Christian School last night. It feels very luxurious with it’s basketball court, movie theater and separate men and women’s showers. This is a Haitian school where classes are still in session, but they’ve allowed Crisis Resources International to set up a hub for relief workers here. They’re very effective with assessing where the needs are, organizing med supplies and transporting relief workers to the field clinics. This is a great organization for donations and their website is www.relief.quisqueya.org (it might be .com). Now we’re waiting for a flatbed truck to take us back to Petit Goave until Friday. I’m amazed by how tough the men and women are, but the crying children really crushes me.
